The Port of Bilbao takes advantage of the pull of fruit and vegetable exports to consolidate its position in this traffic

The Port Authority of Bilbao has given a very positive assessment of its presence at the international Fruit Attraction fair where it held many meetings with the sector’s wholesalers at a moment of growth in fruit and vegetable exports from the Port of Bilbao.

The port representatives stressed the availability of a significant number of short-distance shipping lines and railway services which make it the best connected Atlantic port in terms of fruit and vegetable distribution to northern Europe and the Iberian peninsula itself.
