The Port Authority of Bilbao is in the vanguard of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in which it prioritises Quality, Prevention and Environmental activities.
The fulfilment of customer and user needs and expectations, the recognition of the right to health protection at work and environmental impact control make up the core of the Port Authority’s CSR policy.
In this sense, the Port has put an Integral Management of Quality, Prevention and Environment System into action, which includes planning, supervision and continuous improvement of its activities. All this is to be done transparently and in collaboration with employees, customers, suppliers and other interested parties.
To carry out these commitments, the Port of Bilbao has adopted the management models set out in the latest versions of norms UNE-EN-ISO 9001, OSHAS 18001 and UNE-EN-ISO 14001.
