Port of Bilbao receives weekly train of tiles from Castellón for export to UK
Since the end of April, MacAndrews has operated a new weekly rail service for shippers that links Castellón, on the Mediterranean coast, with the Port of Bilbao. So on Tuesdays, an average of 35 containers loaded with tiles from the ceramics factories in the province leave the Port of Castellón by rail for the Port of Bilbao where they will be exported to the United Kingdom.

The Bilbao Port Authority has awarded SATO, a civil engineering company, the contract for the building of a new cruise terminal at Getxo at a cost of 13.8 million euros, with a 16-month completion period.
A barge with chains and suction anchors leaves the Port of Bilbao bound for Israel
A special load consisting of chains manufactured by Vicinay Cadenas and of eight extra large-sized suction anchors manufactured by Navacel has been sent from the Port of Bilbao to an offshore gas platform being built in Israel.

The Peace Boat to stop over at the Port of Bilbao on Sunday night
On Sunday June 17, at 11.00 hours, the cruise vessel, Ocean Dream, better known as the Peace Boat, will berth at the Port of Bilbao facilities at Getxo, and will sail at 17.00 hours on the following day.
