Port accessThe Port Authority of Bilbao informs that the access road to the port via Punta Lucero, which links it to the junction at La Arena, will be subject to traffic disruption due to works to be carried out by Petronor to install the multi-product pipeline linking its refinery in Muskiz with its new plant at the Punta Sollana quay in the Port of Bilbao.
The works will last for fourth months. During two phases, at the start and at the end of the works, there will be partial road closures, while for two months there will be full road closures:
- Partial road closures: from 1 June to 15 July and from 16 September to 30 September there will be a partial road closure, leaving a single lane open to traffic, which may only be used by cars and lorries, as special vehicles will be excluded due to the dimensions of the lane. All vehicles must leave the port via the other exits (El Kalero, Ugaldebieta, Landeta or Higarillo).
- Full road closures: from 16 July to 15 September no vehicle access will be permitted.
The schedule is subject to the progress of the works and may be subject to change, which will be announced as far in advance as possible.
