The principal exports are chemical products, steel products and machinery. By packs, 42% of the traffic involves solid bulk, 27% liquid and 20% container goods.<\/p>\n<p>By countries, Brazil accounts for 43% of this traffic, ahead of Peru with 23%, Argentina with 12% and Venezuela with a further 12%.<\/p>\n<h4>Traffic with Brazil<\/h4>\n<p>In 2011 traffic with Brazil rose to around 1.2 million tons, growing 28% over the previous year. Brazil is the second country in dry cargo for Bilbao Port and is only surpassed by the United Kingdom, and it is also the leader in solid bulk.
