The programme includes conferences and networking.<\/p>\n<p>The Port of Bilbao is specialised in the agri-foodstuffs sector, with around three million tonnes of this type of goods handled through its facilities. Soya beans account for 34% of this traffic, followed by oils and fats, wines and beverages, cereals and their flours, and animal feed and fodder.<\/p>\n<p>A significant number of companies within the port community provide a wide range of products and services linked to the logistics of the agri-food business, biofuels and other agricultural products, including agency, chartering, port handling, storage, road transport, customs clearance and quality certifiers. Companies providing services for this type of traffic include the stevedoring companies <em>Berg\u00e9 Mar\u00edtima<\/em>, <em>Consignaciones Toro y Betolaza<\/em> and <em>Servicios Log\u00edsticos Portuarios<\/em> (SLP); the industrial companies <em>Acideka<\/em>, <em>Bunge<\/em>, <em>Dep\u00f3sitos Portuarios<\/em> and <em>Tepsa<\/em>; and the company SGS, which offers certification analysis services.<\/p>\n<p><\/div><div class=\"one_half column-last bbcol\"><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"thickbox\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Barco-graneles.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"thickbox alignnone wp-image-52433 size-full\" title=\"thickbox\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Barco-graneles.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Barco-graneles.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Barco-graneles-535x357.jpg 535w, https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Barco-graneles-150x100.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Port also has a Border Control Post (BCP) authorised by the European Commission for sanitary, phytosanitary and commercial quality control of all types of agri-food products subject to foreign trade.<\/p>\n<p><\/div><div class=\"clear\"><\/div><\/p>\n <div class=\"hide-for-small page-options-container hide-for-print\"> <hr class=\"page-options\"\/> <ul class=\"inline right page-options\"><li><a class=\"bmprint\" rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"Print this article\"><i class=\"icon-print\"><\/i><\/a><\/li><li><a class=\"bmsend2friend\" href=\"mailto:?subject=Article of interest: The Port of Bilbao presents its services for the agri-food sector at the annual meeting of grain traders -
