Other issues under discussion and analysis will include the role of technology in optimising port operations, securing valuable cargo, the latest developments in the offshore wind energy sector, the rapidly expanding market and the new opportunities arising in the Spanish market and throughout Europe.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"thickbox\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/9138.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-50867 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/9138.jpg\" alt=\"Project cargo\" width=\"1200\" height=\"796\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/9138.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/9138-535x355.jpg 535w, https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/9138-150x100.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><\/div><div class=\"one_half column-last bbcol\"><\/p>\n<p>Under the title \u2018Mastering the Art of Mega Logistics\u2019, the summit programme also includes a site visit to the <a href=\"https:\/\/haizeawindgroup.com\/en\/inicio-haizea-wind-group-english\/\">Haizea Wind<\/a> facilities in the port of Bilbao, conferences and panel discussions featuring industry leaders from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mammoet.com\/\">Mammoet<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/deugro.com\/\">Deugro<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/sal-heavylift.com\/home\">SAL Heavy Lift<\/a> and the Port Authority of Bilbao, and a host of opportunities for networking with sector professionals.<\/p>\n<p>The conference entitled \u2018Explaining the Growth and Ambitions of the Port of Bilbao\u2019, to be given by Andima Ormaetxe, Operations, Commercial, Logistics and Strategy Director of the Port of Bilbao, is of particular interest. The Port of Bilbao is a multi-purpose port committed to and specialised in strategic traffic for its hinterland, such as project cargo. Ormaetxe will explain the challenges facing the main port of the Atlantic Arc and how it is taking steps to meet them.<\/p>\n<p>Summit conferences will be in English.
