{"id":44965,"date":"2021-10-05T14:47:47","date_gmt":"2021-10-05T12:47:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/?p=44965"},"modified":"2022-05-26T17:20:01","modified_gmt":"2022-05-26T15:20:01","slug":"bilbao-portlab-organises-a-conference-on-the-new-ports-4-0-call-for-proposals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/en\/news\/bilbao-portlab-organises-a-conference-on-the-new-ports-4-0-call-for-proposals\/","title":{"rendered":"Bilbao PortLab organises a conference on the new Ports 4.0 call for proposals"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"show-for-small mobile-breadcrumbs\"><ul class=\"breadcrumbs\"><li class=\"home\"><span property=\"itemListElement\" typeof=\"ListItem\"><a property=\"item\" typeof=\"WebPage\" title=\"Go to Port of Bilbao.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/en\/\" class=\"home\" aria-current=\"page\"><span property=\"name\">Port of Bilbao<\/span><\/a><meta property=\"position\" content=\"1\"><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\r\n<div class=\"one_half bbcol\">\r\n<p><strong>Bilbao PortLab<\/strong>, the initiative set up by the Port Authority to establish the port of Bilbao as part of an innovation ecosystem, will take a further step forward in its efforts to drive innovation and entrepreneurship by organising a conference next Friday, 8 October, to provide information on the new Ports 4.0 call for proposals.<\/p>\r\n<p>The event will be held online from 10:00 to 12:00, with a programme of special interest for companies within the port of Bilbao community and\/or players in the open innovation ecosystem looking to test or try out their innovative solutions in a port environment.<\/p>\r\n<p>Speakers at the conference will include Jos\u00e9 Llorca, Head of Innovation at <em>Puertos del Estado<\/em> \/ the State Ports Authority; Joaquim Mart\u00ednez Bosch and Cristina Mart\u00edn, from KPMG; and Nagore Ardanza, coordinator of Bilbao PortLab. The success stories of the previous Ports 4.0 call, in which 6 business ideas that received support or were enabled by Bilbao PortLab were approved, will be presented, and a Q+A session will be held.<\/p>\r\n<p>Those interested in attending the conference may register by filling in this <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/r\/dYSmLxgaLt\">form<\/a> or by emailing <a href=\"mailto:julia.coppla@bilbaoportlab.eus\">julia.coppla@bilbaoportlab.eus<\/a> with your name, surname, e-mail address and company name.<\/p>\r\n<h6><strong>About Bilbao PortLab<\/strong><\/h6>\r\n<p>Promoted by the <strong>Port Authority of Bilbao<\/strong> and part of the <strong>Bilbao Port and River Foundation<\/strong>, <strong>Bilbao PortLab<\/strong> is an innovation and research hub whose mission is to create an innovation ecosystem in the port of Bilbao. To do so, Bilbao PortLab works with port companies on innovation projects that can be developed internally, and also attracts innovation projects from outside the port community.
