It also aims to stimulate vocations, especially among women, in addition to showing the importance of industry as the engine of the economy in both Biscay and the Basque Country.<\/p>\n<p>The Day is organised by the Biscay Confederation of Metal Companies (Spanish acronym FVEM) for some 1000 Vocational and Baccalaureate students who will visit 33 companies from the territory of Biscay. They will learn of their technology, production processes, professional profiles and capacities for innovation and thus know more about industrial reality from the inside.
