The hydraulic filling used here is similar to those previously carried out in the Port itself and which <em>have not directly affected either the ecosystem or the other beaches in the area.<\/em> The method has been endorsed by reports from independent organisms and entities, and holds the perceptive environmental impact study, a favourable declaration of its impact on the environment and an environmental monitoring plan.<\/p>\n<p>The Port of Bilbao has an almost 90% occupancy level, which advises creating surfaces in order to cater for new logistics, commercial or even industrial projects.
