{"id":21754,"date":"2017-03-20T11:52:19","date_gmt":"2017-03-20T10:52:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/?p=21754\/"},"modified":"2017-03-22T10:00:00","modified_gmt":"2017-03-22T09:00:00","slug":"port-authority-bilbao-presented-new-maritime-cruise-station-important-cruise-fair-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/en\/news\/port-authority-bilbao-presented-new-maritime-cruise-station-important-cruise-fair-world\/","title":{"rendered":"The Port Authority of Bilbao presented its new maritime cruise station at the most important cruise fair in the world"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"show-for-small mobile-breadcrumbs\"><ul class=\"breadcrumbs\"><li class=\"home\"><span property=\"itemListElement\" typeof=\"ListItem\"><a property=\"item\" typeof=\"WebPage\" title=\"Go to Port of Bilbao.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/en\/\" class=\"home\" aria-current=\"page\"><span property=\"name\">Port of Bilbao<\/span><\/a><meta property=\"position\" content=\"1\"><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div><div class=\"one_half bbcol\">\n<h5>Port satisfied with its participation in the American fair where two new cruise calls have been secured for this season with 58 calls now expected.<\/h5>\n<p>The Port Authority of Bilbao, together with Bilbao Turismo,(the Bilbao Tourist Office) presented its new maritime cruise station at Seatrade Cruise Global, the main international cruise trade fair held in Miami\/Fort Lauderdale (USA) from 13-16 March.<\/p>\n<p>The design, the materials and the very features of the station, which will come into operation at the end of March, have been praised by shipowners and tour operators alike, who consider that \u201cthis infrastructure is quite up to the standards of those at other ports, and without any doubt, is at the forefront\u00a0 of European terminals\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the Fair provided the opportunity to hold private meetings with companies in order to present the services the Port of Bilbao offers for vessels and passengers, and to make Euskadi (the Basque Country) known as an ideal destination for this class of tourism with its offer of gastronomy, culture and attractive landscapes for a sector seeking new alternatives to sun and beaches.
