{"id":20909,"date":"2017-01-27T12:30:20","date_gmt":"2017-01-27T11:30:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/en\/?p=20909"},"modified":"2017-01-27T11:29:26","modified_gmt":"2017-01-27T10:29:26","slug":"port-of-bilbao-mostly-compensates-losses-in-gas-and-lack-of-activity-at-acb-with-other-traffic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/en\/news\/port-of-bilbao-mostly-compensates-losses-in-gas-and-lack-of-activity-at-acb-with-other-traffic\/","title":{"rendered":"Port of Bilbao mostly compensates losses in gas and lack of activity at ACB with other traffic"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"show-for-small mobile-breadcrumbs\"><ul class=\"breadcrumbs\"><li class=\"home\"><span property=\"itemListElement\" typeof=\"ListItem\"><a property=\"item\" typeof=\"WebPage\" title=\"Go to Port of Bilbao.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/en\/\" class=\"home\" aria-current=\"page\"><span property=\"name\">Port of Bilbao<\/span><\/a><meta property=\"position\" content=\"1\"><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div><div class=\"one_half bbcol\">\n<p>In 2016, the Port of Bilbao handled 31.9 million tonnes, a figure very similar to the previous year\u2019s, but with a slight loss of 450,000 tonnes, that is, -1.39%, without including, as always local traffic and provisioning.<\/p>\n<p>Increases in traffic of goods such as gasoil, (+288,000 tonnes), cement and clinker (+209,000 tonnes), petroleum coke (+121,000 tonnes) and chemical products (+97,000 tonnes) checked to a great extent the important fall in gas (-523,200 tonnes) and the scarce activity at the ACB steelworks (-324,000 tonnes of scrap metal and\u00a0\u2013\u00a0310,000 tonnes\u00a0of iron ore).
