{"id":11975,"date":"2014-04-15T10:11:21","date_gmt":"2014-04-15T08:11:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/?p=11975"},"modified":"2016-06-13T12:16:27","modified_gmt":"2016-06-13T10:16:27","slug":"european-agency-safety-health-work-visits-port-bilbao","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/en\/news\/european-agency-safety-health-work-visits-port-bilbao\/","title":{"rendered":"The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work visits Port of Bilbao"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"show-for-small mobile-breadcrumbs\"><ul class=\"breadcrumbs\"><li class=\"home\"><span property=\"itemListElement\" typeof=\"ListItem\"><a property=\"item\" typeof=\"WebPage\" title=\"Go to Port of Bilbao.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/en\/\" class=\"home\" aria-current=\"page\"><span property=\"name\">Port of Bilbao<\/span><\/a><meta property=\"position\" content=\"1\"><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div><div class=\"one_half bbcol\">\n<p>A delegation from the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, headed by its director, Christa Sedlatschek, accompanied by personnel from Osalan (the Basque Institute for Safety and Health at Work) has paid a working visit to the Port of Bilbao facilities where they were welcomed by the Chairman of the Port Authority, Mr. Asier Atutxa, and the Vice Minister for Employment and Social Policy of the Autonomous Basque Government, Mr. Ricardo Barkala.<\/p>\n<p>The Port Authority of Bilbao, which employs 270 workers, has an integrated management system for prevention, quality and environment , which was setup and certified in accordance with ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18001 norms.
