Section 4, Subsection 1.<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"fondoGrisClaro paddingLR5\">Art. 194.<\/span>\u00a0This <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">charge applies<\/span> to the use of the This concept is also broadened to include maritime transport between the\u00a0member states of the European Union and Norway and Iceland, and other states of the Baltic,\u00a0Black and Mediterranean Seas respectively.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Shipping service:<\/strong>\u00a0Is that service which provides a specific kind of traffic in a port, where the vessel\u00a0or group of vessels belonging to the same shipping or cruise vessel company link the port in\u00a0question to others transporting the same type and nature of goods or a specific type of\u00a0passage, elements of transport or cargo units.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Regular maritime service:<\/strong>\u00a0is a maritime service that generally offers its services,\u00a0adv ertises them, carries them out on a regular basis with clearly\u00a0preestablished origins and destinations and makes at least 24 calls a\u00a0year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>DISCOUNTS<\/h2>\n<h3><span class=\"fondoGrisClaro paddingLR5\"><strong>Article 245 Section 6th<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"fondoGrisClaro paddingLR5\">1 \u2013<\/span> To encourage better environmental practices, the Port Authority will apply the following discounts\n<ul>\n<li>a)\u00a0When a vessel accredits compliance with specific conditions regarding the environment,\u00a0and in addition, the shipping company, or the shipowner, the vessel belongs to has\u00a0signed a good environmental practices agreement with the Port Authority in relation to\u00a0port operations and stays, a 5% discount will be applied to the charges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"fondoGrisClaro paddingLR5\">2 \u2013<\/span> To increase quality in providing services\n<ul>\n<li>a)\u00a0A 5% discount will be applied on the charges to those shipping companies in\u00a0possession of current services certification which embraces all vessel operations in\u00a0port, based on the quality references laid out by the Spanish Ports State Entity, or\u00a0where applicable, on the specific references approved by the Port Authority.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"fondoGrisClaro paddingLR5\">3 \u2013<\/span>\u00a0Discounts may be applied to traffic thought to be sensitive, priority or strategic, but\u00a0will be no greater than 40 % of the vessel charges, in order to encourage attracting\u00a0customers, customer loyalty and growth in traffic and shipping services that contribute to\u00a0the economic and social development of the port\u2019s area of economic influence or that of\u00a0Spain as a whole (<em>Law 48\/2015 of 29 october pertaining to the State Budget is confirmed for 2016 as follows<\/em>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n <div class=\"hide-for-small page-options-container hide-for-print\"> <hr class=\"page-options\"\/> <ul class=\"inline right page-options\"><li><a class=\"bmprint\" rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"Print this article\"><i class=\"icon-print\"><\/i><\/a><\/li><li><a class=\"bmsend2friend\" href=\"mailto:?subject=Article of interest: T-1 &#8211;
