{"id":133,"date":"2012-05-28T16:06:42","date_gmt":"2012-05-28T14:06:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/?page_id=133"},"modified":"2023-06-19T12:34:39","modified_gmt":"2023-06-19T10:34:39","slug":"the-port-authority","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/en\/the-port-authority\/","title":{"rendered":"The Port Authority"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"show-for-small mobile-breadcrumbs\"><ul class=\"breadcrumbs\"><li class=\"home\"><span property=\"itemListElement\" typeof=\"ListItem\"><a property=\"item\" typeof=\"WebPage\" title=\"Go to Port of Bilbao.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/en\/\" class=\"home\" aria-current=\"page\"><span property=\"name\">Port of Bilbao<\/span><\/a><meta property=\"position\" content=\"1\"><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div><div class=\"one_half bbcol\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The administration of the Port of Bilbao is the competence of the Port Authority of Bilbao, an organization that is a member of the State Ports Public Organization, and whose functions are set out by Law.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Port Authority plans and implements the <a class=\"roll-link\" title=\"Development of Infrastructures\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/en\/the-port-authority\/development-of-infrastructures\/\"><span data-title=\"infrastructure\">infrastructure<\/span><\/a> works needed for the carrying out of the activities related to maritime goods traffic and <strong>interchange between transport modes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In like manner, it organises the uses of the Port\u2019s service zones and manages port public domain through the granting of concessions and authorisations, applying profitability and efficiency criteria.<\/p>\n<p><\/div><div class=\"one_half column-last bbcol\"><\/p>\n<p>It fixes commercial services and collects <a class=\"roll-link\" title=\"Prices offered to customers (Taxes and Tariffs)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bilbaoport.eus\/en\/services\/prices-offered-to-customers-taxes-and-tariffs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-title=\"prices offered to customers (Taxes and Tariffs)\">prices offered to customers (Taxes and Tariffs)<\/span><\/a> for the use of port facilities.
